This treatment is for non-thickened and misshapen nails. You will need to attend attend a routine Podiatry Treatment initially to assess your suitability for this.

Ingrown toenails can occur in anyone, tight fitting shoes, trauma, poor nail cutting at home or just the shape of your toenail play a role in developing an ingrown nail. Whether its at the early stage of tenderness or the end stage of infection, either way treatment should be sought as soon as possible.

Sometimes nail surgery is necessary, or is the best and most convenient option for a patient. Our Nail surgery package includes your initial assessment, the actual surgery to remove of all or part of the nail under local anaesthetic, dressings supply and three subsequent dressings changes.

Verrucae and warts on feet and hands are very common, especially in children. They’re difficult to treat at home, can often be painful, unsightly and prone to spreading. If you suspect you have a wart on a finger or verrucae on your foot we can diagnose, and discuss treatment options. This could be expert advice on treating at home or opting for treatment in the clinic. Choose this appointment if it is your FIRST TIME at the clinic to receive verrucae treatment.

After you have received your initial assessment appointment with a diagnosis of verrucae we will either offer advice on treating at home or start treatment in the clinic, please note we currently only offer Swift treatment or Salicylic Acid Paste.

We’re delighted to be one of the few practices in Scotland to offer Swift Microwave treatment for verrucae and warts. This is a highly effective and convenient option with no dressings. Clinically proven with 84% resolution in up to 4 visits. Patients will be advised to return on a 4 weekly basis.

Treatment will be with Salicylic Acid paste, cost will depend on the number of verrucae/warts. Usually patients will be advised to return on a 2/3 week basis.

Diabetic foot assessment, we will check foot pulses, pressure and vibration sensation. Offering advice and reassurance to any diabetic patient.
